BURAG AG is a highly specialized metal and tube
processing company based in Eschlikon, Switzerland, in the canton of Thurgau. In 1977 the company BURAG AG was founded. It
originated from an existing company, which has been producing threaded fittings
for the sanitary industry for more than 30 years.
BURAG AG processes steel pipes into tube fittings and tube formed parts.
Threads are rolled, formed and cut. Tube ends are drawn in, expanded, rolled in
and profiled.
The customers of BURAG AG include the trade (sanitary and fastening
technology), machine industry, heating and burner manufacturers, agricultural
technology (agricultural machines) and many more.
Our employees manufacture standard parts and
individual solutions for our partners with the greatest precision in our own
production halls.
Our domestic and foreign customers rely on our adherence to
delivery dates, flexibility, care and quality.

The history of our company
1943 Foundation of a pipe nipple factory as a sole proprietorship
1977 Conversion into BURAG AG (public limited company) with headquarters in Eschlikon (Canton Thurgau, Switzerland)
1984 Expansion East, today Spedition BURAG AG
1988 Purchase of 9‘000 sqm of reserve commercial land on the west side
1990 Expansion of production hall West with basement
1996 Extension of the main building (apartment)
1997 BURAG AG First certification of the quality management system according to ISO 9001
2000 Second extension building west with powder coating plant in the basement
2009 Takeover of the company Kusax, Sattel and relocation of the production facilities to Eschlikon.
2011 Third extension west with basement
2012 Takeover of Imeta S. A., La Chaux-de-Fonds and relocation of the production facilities to Eschlikon.
2014 Commissioning of a fifth tube forming plant with 50 t work force
2017 Installation of a new CAD system.
2019 BURAG AG processes more than 2,500 t of steel pipes per year and has 8,000 sqm of production and storage space at its disposal.
